Overthinking is destroying my ability to create.
But it doesn't need to be like that...
Over August, I created my very first concept animation - it was a ton of fun and I FINALLY have a finished snippet of animation to show for the 2 years I have spent working on this project.
But what's the catch?
I have some bad news - I could have done that 2 years ago - none of it was rocket science! I had held myself back, falling victim to myself and the vices of overthinking. And what's worse is this isn't a one-off situation.
The next step in my journey is rewriting my entire script. I have been working on it for months but have only gotten the first 20 pages fleshed out. Not good. How can I fix it?
Yep, I need to say goodbye to you my friend/enemy - OVERTHINKING.
What I'm trying to say is if there is something you are trying to create, don't hold back and "just do it". It might not be great but what matters is that you try.
